Tezuka walked into the cafe and sat down close to the door to wait for his 'lunch partner'. Truth be told, he wasn't entirely sure why he'd asked Echizen of all people to come and have lunch with him. It had seemed like a good idea at the time, and he hoped that he hadn't confused the younger player with his impulsive ask. And of course, he could always hope that Echizen's respect for him extended to humouring him and his odd request. But if he didn't, Tezuka could always just eat lunch by himself. He shook his head at an approaching waitress and told them that he was waiting for a friend. ... And now hopefully Echizen did show up so he didn't look or feel too much like an idiot.
